Entrepreneurial Showcase at Adani University – Business Plan Presentation by SDJ Students

Students of SDJ International College, Vesu, showcased their entrepreneurial acumen by presenting a Business Plan (B-Plan) at Adani University, Ahmedabad, on 7th February 2026.

The presentation provided a valuable platform for students to demonstrate their innovative ideas, strategic planning, financial forecasting, and market analysis skills before an academic and entrepreneurial audience. Through structured business modeling, feasibility assessment, and value proposition design, the students effectively articulated their startup concepts with clarity and confidence.

SUITS 6.0 – A Dynamic Management Event at SDJ International College, Vesu

Creative Week’25 – Makeup & Hairdo Competition

The Makeup & Hairdo Competition held on 14th July 2025 at SDJ International College, Vesu, was a vibrant part of Creative Week 2025. Students displayed their creativity and styling skills by crafting elegant hairstyles and artistic makeup looks. The competition celebrated beauty as a form of creative expression, allowing participants to experiment with trends, techniques, and originality.

Creative Week’25 – Fabric Painting Competition

As part of Creative Week 2025, SDJ International College, Vesu, organized a Fabric Painting Competition on 12th July 2025. Students unleashed their imagination by creating vibrant and eye-catching designs on fabric, blending colors and creativity with skillful brushwork. The event highlighted the fusion of art and fashion, providing participants a platform to express their artistic vision on textile surfaces.

Starcast Interaction & Movie Promotion of Lagan Lagi Re at SDJ International College, Vesu

SDJ International College, Vesu hosted an exciting promotional event of the upcoming Gujarati film Lagan Lagi Re on 27th January 2026 at 1:30 p.m. in the college Atrium. The event provided students with a unique opportunity to interact with the lead actors Aarohi Patel, Malhar Thakar, and Tatsat Munshi.

The starcast shared their experiences from the film, insights into the Gujarati film industry, and encouraged students to support regional cinema. The interactive Q&A session created an engaging and lively atmosphere, allowing students to connect directly with the artists and understand the creative journey behind the film.

The event not only promoted the film, which is scheduled for release on 6th February 2026, but also strengthened cultural engagement on campus by bridging academia with the entertainment industry. The promotion concluded with photographs and media interactions, making it a memorable cinematic moment for the SDJ fraternity.

Intra-College Dance Competition 2026

The campus of SDJ International College, Vesu resonated with rhythm, energy, and vibrant expressions during the Intra-College Dance Competition held on 2 January 2026. Organised by the IQAC of SDJ International College, Vesu, in collaboration with the NirtyaVibe Community, the event provided a lively platform for students to showcase their creativity, confidence, and passion for dance.

Students delivered captivating performances across diverse dance forms, creating an atmosphere filled with enthusiasm and artistic flair. The presence of faculty members and judges added encouragement and inspiration, as participants were appreciated for their choreography, coordination, and stage presence.

Creative Week’ 25 – Mehndi Competition

SDJ International College, Vesu, kicked off Creative Week 2025 with a vibrant Mehndi Competition on July 11, showcasing their artistic skills by creating intricate and traditional mehndi designs, which celebrated culture, creativity, and craftsmanship. The event reflected the rich heritage of Indian art and provided a platform for students to express their talent through beautiful henna patterns.
