SDJ International College, Vesu organized an Industrial Visit to Mundra Port, Kutch for the students of SY & TY B.Com. and B.Com. (Data Analytics) from 26th to 28th July 2026. The three-day educational visit provided students with firsthand exposure to one of India's largest commercial ports, where they gained practical insights into port operations, logistics, supply chain management, cargo handling, warehousing, and international trade. The itinerary also included educational visits to Vijay Vilas Palace and Mandvi Beach, offering students an opportunity to explore the cultural and historical heritage of Kutch. The industrial visit successfully bridged classroom learning with real-world industry practices, enhancing students' professional knowledge and experiential learning.

Launch of “Data Sphere” – B.Com (Data Analytics) Community at SDJIC, Vesu

SDJ International College, Vesu, through its IQAC, successfully launched “Data Sphere”, the official community of B.Com (Data Analytics) students, on 14th April 2026. The event featured an insightful keynote session by Dr. Sanjny Joshi on “Data Analytics Basics”, providing students with foundational knowledge and industry relevance.

The initiative aims to foster collaborative learning, skill enhancement, and practical exposure through various upcoming activities, seminars, and workshops planned for the academic year. Creative Week 2026: Mehendi Competition Celebrates Creativity and Tradition at SDJ International College, Vesu

As part of Creative Week 2026, the Mehendi Competition was successfully organized on 25th July 2026 by the Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) under Saptdhara – Rang, Kala ane Kaushalya Dhara (Fine Arts Band) at SDJ International College, Vesu. The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from students who showcased their creativity and artistic excellence through intricate Mehendi designs in the Traditional Mehendi and Mehendi Figures categories. Judged by Ms. Anjali Jain, the competition provided a vibrant platform for students to express their talent while promoting India's rich cultural heritage. The event reflected the spirit of Creative Week 2026 – "Express. Create. Inspire.", encouraging artistic expression, healthy competition, and holistic student development.

The program featured interactive ice-breaking activities, including a Campus Scavenger Hunt, an engaging quiz session, motivational addresses by Dr. Aditi Bhatt (Principal) and Dr. Vaibhav Desai (IQAC Coordinator & Trust Representative), and an orientation on academic regulations, examination procedures, campus facilities, and the code of conduct. Lakshya 2.0 Seminar on Strategic Leadership Organized at SDJ International College,Vesu

IQAC of SDJ International College, Vesu, under Saptdhara – Gyan Dhara (Knowledge Band), organized Lakshya 2.0 – Where Graduates Evolve into Strategic Leaders on 24 April 2026. The seminar featured Dr. Mini Mathur, Associate Professor, MICA Ahmedabad, who delivered an insightful session on leadership mindset, strategic thinking, decision-making, and future career pathways. Sponsored by Holiday Shoppers, Vesu, Surat, the event provided a platform for academic learning, professional orientation, and leadership development.

Community Gathering for BCA-AI & BCA-CS Students

The IQAC of SDJ International College, Vesu organized a Community Gathering for FY and SY BCA students specializing in Artificial Intelligence and Cyber Security on 08th April 2026 at the college auditorium.

The session featured insightful keynote addresses by Dr. Vaibhav Desai on “From Degree to Impact: Career Pathways in AI & Cyber Security” and Dr. Paresh Joshi on “Prompt Engineering & Critical Fact-Checking of AI-Generated Content.”

A key highlight of the event was the launch of two student communities, NextGen AI and Cybershield, aimed at fostering innovation and domain-specific learning. The program also included the felicitation of guests, distribution of specialized badges and certificates, and active student participation, making it a highly enriching academic initiative.
